One of the important developments in the recent time is the development of an ergonomic mouse. The ergonomic mouse review has suggested that the usage of this kind of computer mouse has greatly resulted in increasing the comfort level and is also of great use in decreasing the level of energy usage.

Previously there was a lot of problems that were caused by a mouse with a cord. There is great level of development which has taken place in the way in which a mouse is made.

Technology rich ergonomic mouse

It can be easily said that all the products are becoming technology rich. The mouse is getting smaller, wireless and infra red. The use of infra red technology has made it possible to eliminate the usage of cords that are attached with a mouse. But this infra red mouse served the purpose only to a limited level.

Is There a Left Handed Computer Mouse?

!±8± Is There a Left Handed Computer Mouse?

Whilst this might seem like a silly question, it is a very well justified one. Many mouses are designed so that you can use them in either hand, but the majority of them are not. Mouses are made so that they sit in your hand comfortably, and as a result many of them are not able to be used for both your left and right hand. Unfortunately, because the majority of the population is right handed, there is a much greater variety of mouses that you can purchase. In saying that, there are enough left handed mouses out there that you should be able to get something that is comfortable, easy to use and that is reliable.

I must recommend that you never use a right handed mouse with your left hand, unless it's only for a few minutes at a time. They are designed to be ergonomic to your right hand, and when used in the wrong hand you will only do damage to your wrists. It is very easy to identify a left handed mouse; just put your hand on it. You will soon see how they are contoured to fit the way your left hand sits, and not the right hand. I did mention some are universal; and these can be identified by a flat surface on the top. Generally a left handed mouse will slope steeply to the right, where your thumb sits. Likewise, a right handed mouse slopes steeply on the left (where the thumb also sits).

If you are a left handed person, I would highly recommend getting a left handed mouse if you use a computer for more than a few minutes each day. Of course, if you share the computer with a right handed person then you could either swap mouses each time, or you need to get a mouse that is universal. I will say that the universal mouses are not very ergonomic for either hand type though!
